We built Qura because re-listening to a lecture recording to find one detail is a waste of an evening, and because PDFs you upload somewhere should come back as something you can use, not just a file sitting in a folder.

Every transcription, extraction, and generated note in Qura comes from a real pipeline — real speech-to-text, real OCR for scanned pages, real AI structuring it all into something worth keeping. No placeholder data, no fake demo mode.

Why we built this

Qura started as a personal frustration: hours of lecture and meeting recordings that were technically searchable but practically useless, because finding one detail meant re-listening to the whole thing.

We're a small, early-stage team shipping fast and talking to real users as we go. Nothing in the product is a mock demo — every recording you upload goes through the same pipeline we use ourselves.

If something's broken or missing, tell us. We're still building this in the open.

Every feature in Qura solves a problem we actually hit: forgetting what was said in a meeting, losing a PDF in a pile of downloads, wishing a lecture came with flashcards instead of just a wall of text.

We'd rather ship something small and real than something big and fake. If a feature isn't wired up yet, we say so instead of faking it.
